Welcome to Waldport High School, "Home of the Irish." Waldport High School is nestled just south of the beautiful Alsea Bay with the glistening Pacific Ocean to the west and the majestic coastal range to the east. Our school colors are kelly green, white and black. The student population has ranged from 250 to 350 students over the past ten years. Traditionally, the school has been known for its individualized attention to students, while maintaining broad offerings in the elective areas such as band, chorus, wood/metal shop, drafting, art, dance, drama, foods, photography and computer technologies. Several AP classes are offered as well as college courses.

With higher state standards, the Irish have demonstrated their ability to excel in math, reading and science.  Waldport High School is one of the few high schools in the state to continue to meet AYP Federal Standards.
