Dear Families and Community Members:

I would like to introduce myself to you. I am Bob Shindelman, and I am honored to be Toledo Elementary School’s new principal. I look forward to a great Spring getting to know the families and students that make up Toledo Elementary.

As many of you might already know, I have been the Assistant Principal at Toledo Jr / Sr High School for the past year.  I have also taught many years in Lincoln County, including three years at this building when it was the middle school! 

I have been an educator for 15 years, and I believe teaching to be the most important job anyone can have; our kids are precious and they deserve the best we can give, 100% of the time.  I promise to give that 100% everyday and every way I can. 

I know that for some this change at our school is sudden and surprising.  But the teachers and staff at Toledo Elementary are an awesome crew: they will make sure that every classroom will run as smoothly today as yesterday and every child will get that great gift of education.  Toledo Elementary is the best school in Lincoln County!

I look forward to meeting each and every one of you over the days and weeks to come.  Please feel free to call, or come by and visit, or simply stop me in the hallway or the parking lot to shake hands and say hello.
