Waldport Middle
Waldport, Oregon is located at milepost 154 on US 101 on the beautiful Oregon Coast. People come to our area to, fish, crab, boat, observe sea life, and hike the pristine Oregon forests.
Waldport is between Newport and Yachats.The Hatfield Marine Science Center and the Oregon Coast Aquarium are located just 15 miles north in Newport. Cape Perpetua, Devil’s Churn and the Sea Lion Caves are located just south of Yachats.
Waldport Middle houses 180 students 6th through 8th grade. Our school enjoys good parent and community support. We share the building with the elementary school kindergarten through 5th grade,
The staff of WMS and I share a great deal of pride in our school based on high annual scores on the state benchmark tests, high ratings on the State of Oregon's annual "report card", and positive results from an annual climate survey of the parents of the students who attend Waldport Middle. The combination of these factors tells us that while we always have room for growth, we are doing an above-average job of educating the children who attend our school. We strive to maintain a safe learning environment.
