Thank You, Lincoln County Voters!
You supported our $63 million bond measure proposal by a large margin. We are humbled and encouraged by this show of support for our students and our schools!
Now, the task at hand is to accomplish our stated facilities improvement goals... build a new high school for Waldport students, remove aging portable buildings and replace them with permanent classrooms, and make other repairs and improvements... all while continuing to improve student achievement.

The slide show above was created by Clay Creech, a dedicated Newport Booster Volunteer. We are extremely grateful to "Paparazzi Creecher," as he calls himself! He devoted countless hours photographing the upgrade to the NHS football field. Then, he condensed his multiple hundreds of photos to a few dozen, creating a 3-1/2 minute presentation that he posted on YouTube.
The process of upgrading the football fields at Toledo Jr/Sr High and at Newport High were mostly identical... except, of course, for the addition of "Boomers" or "Cubs" on the field! Check it out!
