Our school gardens had a great summer, and now there’s plenty of fresh produce to harvest!
LCSD Garden Coordinator Scott Barker is busy dicing freshly picked squash and zucchini. The vegetables will be vacuum sealed and frozen, then put to good use this winter in soups and breads.
From the garden to the kitchen, it’s a great way to make the most of our summer harvest!
