Oceanlake Elementary School celebrated its new outdoor play area with a ribbon cutting last week!

School Board members, district administrators, Lincoln City Parks and Recreation staff, the mayor and Lincoln City Chamber of Commerce members joined students and staff to celebrate this exciting improvement made possible by the voter-approved 2025 School Renewal Bond.

And there's more to come! During recent student conferences, students and families had the opportunity to vote on the types of playground equipment they'd like to see added to the space.

Judging by the smiles on students' faces as they ran and played, the new space is already a hit!

Thank you, Lincoln County voters, for helping us create better spaces for our students to play, learn and grow.
