It's Farm Fresh Friday this week and Oregon's Choice Albacore Tuna is on the menu! Elementary schools will have tuna noodle casserole and secondary school students will be offered Asian tuna burgers! We are grateful for our partnerships with all our local food vendors including Oregon's Choice that was founded by Captain Herb and now owned and operated by his daughter and Lincoln County native SueAnna Harrison.

Did you know LCSD is working with many local contractors and businesses on our bond projects? Toledo company Table Mountain Forestry recently leveled the field at Toledo Elementary which will be become a turf playfield that can be used all year long by our students!
While it isn't always easy to say goodbye, we are excited to see Taft Elementary's music room get a big upgrade! The current space will be torn down to make room for a larger, modern music area, all thanks to bond funding.

Samaritan Health Center in Newport is hosting an all-ages flu vaccination clinic on Friday, Oct. 10 from 8 a.m. to noon and 1 to 5 p.m. at the Health Center, 930 SW Abbey St., Newport on the second floor of the hospital. No appointment necessary.
